...for the men...

The men's section was founded in 1953, see how smart they were! Now we are more casual.

We have about 35 members, most of whom play in both club and league matches. We field a team in the Somerset Bowls County league and one in the Mid Somerset league. Friendly matches are arranged with nearby clubs so there is plenty of opportunity to practise your skills and learn from the players of both teams.

Someone once said "the best coach is the bloke who bowls ahead of you" ... so true. If he gets it right just follow his line, if he doesn't then don't!!
